Sama Skincare was created in October 2022, after I finished studying with the School of Natural Skincare, where I gained the Diploma in Natural Skincare Formulation and the Certificate in Making Natural Skincare Products. I had always been interested in taking care of my skin, and burning essential oils, but when I had an anxiety attack I found that using Lavender essential oil particularly helped me a lot and I decided to study so I could learn more about the powerful properties of essential oils and how to formulate my own natural skincare products.

After much time, research, and testing, I am proud to present my first certified products which are all natural and vegan friendly, containing 100% pure high quality essential oils. The natural skin care products are formulated for sensitive skin but they are also suitable for all skin types. My company is environmentally friendly as all of my vegan skincare products are oil-based and the small amount of packaging is reusable and recyclable.

My aim is for users of my skincare products to have a ‘mindful moment’ when using them, breathing in the beautiful scents of the essential oils, benefitting the mind and body.

I chose the name ‘Sama’ as in yoga philosophy it means the quality of calmness and tranquility of the mind. Being in control of your mind finds sama, therefore experiencing inner peace and equanimity.
