Calm your sensitive facial skin using Soothing Flower Facial Balm by Sama Skincare. Handmade in Exeter, Devon, this high quality facial balm has been formulated to soothe sensitive facial skin when it has a ‘flare-up’. This vegan skincare product contains the following ingredients:

* Safflower Oil is a light oil that helps to balance the skin and return it to its normal state. It is an anti-inflammatory, so it helps to alleviate sore, irritated skin, and moisturises dry skin very well, helping it to feel instantly smooth. This oil is from France, and is extracted by pressing Safflower seeds

* Camellia Oil is a light oil that absorbs very fast into the skin. It is renowned for its anti-aging properties and is rich in Vitamin A, which naturally regenerates skin. This oil is great for irritated, inflamed, sensitive skin, and has been used in Japan for centuries to moisturise and condition the skin. The oil is from China, and is made by cold pressing wild Camellia Seeds

* Jojoba Oil is very special as it is really a wax! The liquid wax is produced in the seed of the Jojoba plant. It is fast-absorbing, provides protection against UVB rays, and moisturises and hydrates, helping skin to be soft and smooth. It is unique as it has a natural composition that makes it highly compatible with human skin, and is the closest plant substance to mimic the sebum (an oily substance produced by our body) naturally found in human skin. The jojoba I use in this natural skincare product originates from Egypt

* Carrot Tissue Oil softens and smoothes the skin, moisturises and helps to alleviate inflammation. It is great for sensitive skin, and rich in antioxidant pro-Vitamin A, beta carotene, which helps to repair the signs of aging

* Mango Butter is light, absorbs quickly into the skin, and has excellent moisturising properties. It is full of natural anti-oxidants, and is helpful in protecting skin from the weather and UV radiation. The butter is extracted from the seed of the mango fruit

* Candelilla Wax is thick, protective, and absorbs into the skin easier than beeswax. It is great for dry and chapped skin as it is hydrating and moisturising. Candelilla wax is plant-derived (vegan alternative to beeswax) and has been used for over 100 years in skincare products. The wax is derived from the leaves of the Candelilla shrub native to Mexico and southwestern USA. They are placed in a mix of water and sulphuric acid to extract the wax. Heat is applied and the wax comes to the surface where it is collected and known as the "paila"

* Lavender essential oil is a fantastic oil for relaxation and general well-being. It is anti-inflammatory and great for sensitive skin. I use an organic version in this skincare product, originating from France.

* Neroli essential oil is produced by steam distilling Egyptian Orange Blossom flowers. It has an uplifting citrus scent and I use the highest grade version available in this product

* Chamomile essential oil is soothing and calming for the skin and the mind. It also has healing properties. The British Roman variety I use in this skincare product is grown organically in Surrey, England.

* This vegan skin care product also contains Vitamin E which is very beneficial for skin. It not only has anti-ageing properties, but also protects oils in the product, prolonging its shelf-life

How to use:

Lightly rub onto the desired area of the face with your finger

Caution:
Avoid use during pregnancy. Can cause drowsiness. Caution for those with nut and citrus allergies. Do not go in the sun immediately after use.
